Insider: Microsoft has laid down a plan to double the size of its advertising business to $20 billion:
Microsoft Advertising’s properties include Bing search, Xbox, MSN, and hundreds of other websites that use Xandr to sell digital ads. Recent updates to the advertising product lineup have included the introduction of vertical-specific ad formats, including those for credit cards and cars. It also expanded the Microsoft Audience Network into 66 new markets in October.
